Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Practice Accountancy, who are looking for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join their team based in Surrey.

Position: Audit and Accounts Manager
Rate: £55,000 - £65,000
Location: Surrey
Work Type: Permanent

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Use cost effectiveness to manage all aspects of a portfolio of business clients within agreed budgets and timescales.
  • Plan and perform accounts preparation work.
  • Capitalise on tax planning opportunities.
  • Ensure that client workflow is managed at all times.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, keeping them aware of current affairs and tax liabilities in a timely manner.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

  • At least 3-4 years PQE.
  • ACA, ACCA or CA qualification.
  • Knowledge and experience of auditing and accounting practices as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and commercial bookkeeping packages (such as Sage or Xero).
  • Previous experience managing a portfolio.
