Audit & Accounts Client Manager - Glasgow

An exciting new role has arisen with one of our highly regarded, long-established CA Firms, to join their expanding, successful team as a 'hands-on' Audit & Accounts Client Manager, based in Glasgow.

This broad role suits a qualified CA/ACCA with several years of general practice PQE from another UK Practice Firm and some current or recent UK audit experience. The ideal candidate is keen to work with a diverse range of clients in a collaborative, friendly environment, performing a broad audit/general practice-accounts/tax role.

Why join this client?

Varied workload and client portfolio. The client supports a good work/life balance with a 35-hour week* and early finish on Fridays*.

As a key team member, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide and varying client portfolio, mentoring more junior staff, covering all aspects of audit, accounts preparation/review, and basic tax. The role will be approximately 2/3 focused on general accounts/tax, with about 1/3 on audit, though this may develop into less hands-on audit and more audit review.

Ideal candidate:
  • Enthusiastic qualified CA/ACCA with several years post-qualifying experience, with a broad, stable UK accountancy practice background covering audit, accounts preparation, and basic tax.
  • Keen to work closely with clients as an all-round advisor.
  • Team player with strong client and interpersonal skills.
