Job description

TPF Recruitment is supporting a highly reputable, well-established and growing firm of Top 50 chartered accountants based in Dartford who are looking for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join their team. This is a really exciting position, where you will have responsibility for an experienced team, and your own portfolio of prestigious clients. There are excellent career prospects on offer within this market-leading firm of chartered accountants.

Our client is considering candidates from the recently qualified level, through to experienced Managers.

You will be responsible for:
  • A varied mix of assignments including audit, accounting and corporate tax;
  • Regular contact with clients to ensure they receive the highest service levels;
  • Organising, planning and managing all audit and accounting assignments for the portfolio;
  • Supervising and supporting team members;
  • Reporting directly to the client engagement partner;
  • Involvement in strategic business planning for clients, including tax planning and corporate finance;
  • Key contribution to practice development initiatives including networking events;
  • Working within an existing team of managers and partners to further develop and support the growth of the firm;
  • A portfolio of clients with varying corporate structures operating in a diverse range of industries.
Requirements
  • Be ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience;
  • Have a minimum of 5 years practical experience in a similar practice-based role;
  • Exposure to FRS 102;
  • Proven experience planning, undertaking and finalising a variety of statutory audit assignments;
  • Proven experience in drafting and finalising corporation tax computations for a variety of companies.
Salary and Benefits
  • £55,000 - £70,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable;
