Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join a fast-growing and reputable independent, certified chartered accountancy practice based in Croydon on a full-time basis. You will be offered a progressive position with opportunities to enhance your career.

The firm has a modern approach and a well-earned reputation as a leading advisor to SME owner-managed businesses across the country. The practice provides services including year-end accounts, tax compliance & advisory, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all areas of accounting and take on responsibilities commensurate with your experience. The team is relaxed, close-knit, and collaborative.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing a portfolio of clients, supporting them with a full range of accountancy services.
  2. Leading audits and managing the audit team on-site.
  3. Supporting the senior team in growing and managing the practice.
  4. Collaborating with the wider team to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience considered.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an accountancy practice, including audit and accounts, with managerial responsibilities.
  • Seeking a challenging, long-term career move with potential for progression into senior roles.

Benefits:

  • Salary between £55,000 and £70,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits.
