Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager

Your new company

The 9-partner firm, based in central London, offers a wide range of accounting and business advisory services, focusing on general practice accounting and tax. The firm serves clients across various sectors including property, entertainment, financial services, health, professional services, hospitality, and charities. The audit and accounts team comprises over 30 members, ranging from part-qualified to those with over 25 years of experience.

Your new role

The firm seeks an energetic, proactive, and strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, to join their Audit and Accounts team as an Assistant Manager.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Post-Qualification experience
  • People and portfolio management skills
  • 30-50% Audit experience plus training

Additional benefits and working conditions

  • Core 35-hour workweek, with potential to increase hours after probation for a pro-rata salary adjustment to 37.5 or 40 hours per week, depending on business needs
  • NEST pension scheme or personal pension scheme
  • 25 days of annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year after 5 years of service, up to a maximum of 30 days
  • Enhanced parental leave policy for both parents (after 3 years' service)
  • Enhanced sabbatical policy (after 5 years' service)
