Job summary

Harvey John in Horsham, West Sussex, is recruiting an ambitious Audit and Accounts Senior for a growing, multi-sited chartered accountancy firm.

The role is roughly a 60-40 split between audit and accounts work, with supervision from partners and managers. You will plan and lead audit assignments and prepare and review accounts and tax work, with opportunities to progress to assistant manager/manager levels.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/AAT part or recently qualified.
• Solid audit and accounting experience gained in a UK accountancy firm.
• Confident in working with minimal supervision, enthusiastic and flexible.
• Live within a reasonable commute of Horsham and happy in a mainly office based role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and lead a range of audit assignments.
• Prepare and review accounts and tax work.
• Help develop a team of juniors and progress to assistant manager/manager levels.
• Work closely with partners and managers on engagements.
