Salary: £38,000 £48,000 (DOE)

Are you a newly or nearly qualified accountant looking to take the next step in your career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm? We re working with a fast-growing, independent accountancy practice in West Sussex that is seeking a motivated Audit & Accounts Senior to join their friendly and professional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their role, with a genuine 50/50 split between audit and accounts assignments, and a clear path for ongoing progression.
The Role:
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you ll play a key role in delivering high-quality services to a diverse client portfolio, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and larger corporate clients across a range of sectors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading audits from planning through to completion
  • Preparing statutory accounts for a variety of clients
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff on-site and in the office
  • Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact
  • Supporting managers and partners with ad hoc project work and client advisory
About You:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist level with strong experience)
  • Previous experience in a mixed audit and accounts role within practice
  • Confident leading audits and managing client relationships
  • Strong technical knowledge and a proactive, positive attitude
  • Ambitious, with a desire to progress and develop within a growing firm
