Audit & Accounts Semi Senior (up to 30% Audit)

Job Description
TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join a very successful independent firm of chartered accountants based in Tunbridge Wells. In this position, you will be responsible for providing a mixed audit and accounts service to a range of corporate and not-for-profit organisations. Our client has a fantastic reputation in the South-East, and you'll have the support of an experienced team around you too. Our client is equally open to a candidate who may not necessarily have lots of audit experience but is interested in building a career in audit & accounts. This position will range from only 25-30% audit work, therefore offering a great work life balance.

  • Preparing financial statements from clients trial balance;
  • Auditing all areas of financial statements and preparing audit files for review;
  • Taking responsibility for all work allocated communicating with manager and partner as necessary;
  • Meeting deadlines in an efficient and effective way;
  • Committed to work as part of a team, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to help others and take initiative when needed;
  • Communicating to all stakeholders with kindness, respect and supporting your team to succeed;
  • Ability to provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate;
  • Capacity to work on numerous jobs simultaneously;
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic team.
Requirements
  • You will be ACA/ACCA studying or qualified by experience with a strong background in accounts or audit, with demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.
  • You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients.
  • You will be looking for an opportunity to progress your career and develop within a leading firm.
