Job summary

Castle Employment Group is seeking an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior in Leeds to join an established practice near Horsforth. The role combines around 70% audit with 30% accounts and offers development opportunities for someone early in their ACA/Level 4 journey.

You will work with SMEs to larger and international groups, with hybrid working, flexible hours and strong work-life balance. Full study and training support is provided.

Qualifications

• Around 1–2 years' experience in UK accountancy practice.
• Genuine audit experience essential.
• Interest in developing a career in audit.
• Experience across accounts and audit.
• Preferably studying ACA or Level 4 progress.
• Comfortable working with SME clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for varied clients
• Carry out audit assignments as part of a team
• Work across audits for SMEs to larger organisations
• Support larger audits while developing smaller audits
• Prepare first-draft corporation tax work with accounts/audit
• Support VAT and general practice accounting
• Build relationships with clients
• Collaborate with accounts, audit and tax teams
• Develop technical knowledge and increased responsibility
