What you will do as an Audit & Accounts Manager:
  1. Work directly with Directors and Partners to oversee a portfolio of audit and/or non-audit clients (non-audit services include review and delivery of accounts preparation, corporation tax support, advisory services, and ad hoc technical advice).
  2. Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge and stay aware of emerging issues in audit and accounting.
  3. Provide high-level technical guidance on audit, accounts, and tax matters internally and externally.
  4. Mentor junior staff, including post-qualified professionals.
  5. Manage client relationships and demonstrate commercial awareness – agree fees with partners and clients, understand time costs and client value, track recoveries, raise bills, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  6. Understand clients' commercial situations and help them achieve their goals.
  7. Identify opportunities to win new work.
  8. Assess tax treatments for efficiency and supervise tax return filings.
  9. Participate in audit department meetings to discuss staffing requirements and job allocations.
  10. Complete and update client due diligence forms, adhering to independence standards and professional regulations.
