Overview

TPF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Top 20, highly successful and growing firm of chartered accountants based in London to recruit an Audit and Accounts Manager to join their team. Based in the firms London offices, you will be joining a highly regarded team and firm with an excellent reputation. The firm has a wide ranging client base with corporate clients ranging from sub audit threshold turnover clients, through to significant sized groups etc. The firm also acts for a substantial number of not for profit, charity and other specialist sector clients. With clear career development paths and appraisal systems in place to help people achieve their career goals, the firm provides an excellent environment for career focused professionals looking to progress.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and control a varied portfolio of fees
  • Portfolio to be focused on audit and accounts assignments
  • Manage and support the department and its workflows
  • Providing technical support, including training, to the firm in conjunction with the Directors
  • With Director support, lead and develop the firm's controls, processes and practices.
  • Review and support of audit teams on and off site of client premises, with involvement in audit assignments from planning through to closure meetings.
  • Ensure all team members are clear on what is expected of them, give regular feedback as to how they are performing and are capable of development in line with the demands of the business.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with a career background and strength within audit, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment.
  • Developed your career to Assistant Manager or Manager level and be looking to take your career to the next level, within a firm and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer.
  • Experience delivering audit services to clients across varied industries.
  • Over 5 years UK practice experience is desirable.
