Audit and Accounts Manager Opportunity in Bury

Levitate Recruitment has been commissioned by a 4-partner Accountancy Practice in Bury to recruit an Audit and Accounts Manager.

The role reports directly to the directors/partners and aims to support career progression and the development of junior team members.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading audit assignments from planning to completion for clients of various sizes and sectors.
2. Understanding and reviewing corporate tax computations.
3. Managing the production of accounts for clients.
4. Contributing to special projects within the corporate finance and tax teams.
5. Handling clients with annual turnovers typically between £10m and £40m, with opportunities to work with clients in the £80m to £100m range.
6. Supervising a designated client portfolio and gaining exposure to management and statutory accounts preparation.

Applicants should be ACA/ACCA qualified with strong accounting and auditing skills, preferably with a background in professional practice.
