Job summary

Fletcher George Recruitment Ltd is assisting a growing Surrey-based Chartered Accountants firm by appointing an Audit and Accounts Director. Based in Surrey, the role offers a defined route to Partnership and progress toward RI status, with flexibility to shape the role around your strengths.

You will lead audits, oversee statutory accounts reviews under UK GAAP, and mentor the team while developing client relationships and driving business development across the South East.

Qualifications

• Experience leading audit engagements in UK practice.
• Ability to build long-term client relationships and contribute to strategy.
• Mentor ACA/ACCA trainees and develop the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments and oversee delivery across a diverse client portfolio.
• Support statutory accounts review under UK GAAP (FRS 102).
• Act as senior point of contact for clients, building lasting relationships.
• Work with Partners on growth and succession planning.
• Mentor and coach trainees within the team.
