Job Description:

Audit & Accounts Director Designate – Future Partner Opportunity | Central London | Up to £120,000 + Equity Potential

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? I'm actively recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Director Designate role with a highly respected, long-established firm in Central London. This is not just another leadership role — this is your fast-track to Partnership.

With over 40 talented professionals in London and as part of a 1000+ strong international network (spanning France, Asia, and the USA), this firm combines local prestige with global reach. Whether it’s annual conferences in Singapore or Luxembourg, or supporting international SMEs and funds entering the UK market, the exposure and variety here are second to none.

Why this role stands out:

  • Salary £90K up to £120k DOE
  • Progression to Directorship, with Partnership and potential equity share firmly on the table
  • Succession planning in full swing — current Partners retiring in 2025
  • ICAEW accredited training firm with high standards and a forward-thinking culture

This is a rare and urgent opportunity to work side-by-side with outgoing Partners for a comprehensive handover, laying the foundations for a seamless transition and long-term success.

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading a portfolio with a 70/30 audit to accounts/tax split
  • Acting as the key relationship lead for a diverse range of clients (turnovers up to £50M)
  • Working with UK subsidiaries of international groups and across sectors including tech, property, hospitality, and manufacturing
  • Reporting under FRS102 (some IFRS exposure), using Xero, MyWorkpapers, and Inflo
  • Developing new business and mentoring a growing team

What We're Looking For:

  • Ideally ACA qualified (ACCA also considered)
  • Eligible for RI status or already an RI
  • Commercially sharp with a client-first mindset
  • Ready to shape the future of a practice — not just maintain the status quo

If you're ambitious, strategic, and ready to step into a key leadership role with genuine progression on offer, I want to hear from you.
