Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is recruiting an Audiologist to provide high quality audiology services to the North Wales population. The post is based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital and offers opportunity to develop clinical and service development skills in a supportive environment.

The role covers outpatient, domiciliary and inpatient settings with potential staff training responsibilities.

Qualificações

• A minimum qualification is BSC Audiology (or equivalent BAAT I/II).
• Registration with HCPC or on track to register as Clinical Scientist is required.
• Excellent communication and IT skills relevant to audiology duties.

Responsabilidades

• Assess communication needs including hearing status.
• Fit and verify adult hearing aids and optimize performance.
• Train and supervise other clinical staff where appropriate.
• Willingness to travel to peripheral clinics as needed.
