Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a reliable, adaptable individual to join the Audiology Team at Musgrove Park Hospital and community locations. The role combines clinical support with essential administrative duties and requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

You will assist in daily hearing aid clinics, support clinicians, and provide frontline patient care with strong communication and IT skills. Training will be provided to broaden competencies.

Qualifications

• Good standard of Education to GCSE level.
• Hearing assistant care NVQ or equivalent.
• Experience in a health care setting.
• Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily hearing aid repair clinics and follow-up clinics.
• Provide admin support to the admin team.
• Assist qualified Audiologists during busy clinics.
• Travel to community locations using a vehicle when required.
