Responsibilities

• Assist the Audiologist with clinical care as requested by the Audiologist.
• Assist in managing the department's business and information systems.
• Support the Audiologist in clinical audits and research projects.
• Liaise with other agencies and professionals where appropriate.
• Participate in staff performance appraisal system.
• Operate within the organisation's care philosophy.
• Deliver care with good customer relations.
• Provide administrative and clerical support as required by the department.
• Deliver services at outlying centres without direct supervision, at the discretion of the Department and its Clinical Leadership.
• Perform other support work as required within scope of practice; see Job Description for full duties.

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Toassistthe Audiologist with any aspect of clinical care as requested by the Audiologist.
• Toassistin managing the department's business and information systems.
• To provide support to the Audiologist in any clinical audit/research projects.
• To liaise with other agencies and professionals, whereappropriate.
• Toparticipatein and contribute to the staff performance appraisal system.
• To function within the philosophy of care as defined by the organisation and the department.
• To provide care in a manner which is consistent with good customer relations.
• To provide any necessary administrative and clerical support as required by the department.
• To deliver services at outlying centres, without direct supervision, at the discretion of theDepartmentand itsClinical Leadership.
