A health services provider in Doncaster is seeking a Lead Paediatric Audiologist to manage complex audiology cases and improve patient services. The ideal candidate will hold a BSc in Audiology and demonstrate experience working with paediatric patients and leading service enhancements. Competitive salary ranges from £47,810 to £54,710 per annum.

An experienced, qualified Paediatric Audiologist to deliver a consistent skilled performance of a broad range of more complex, precision work or activities, and specialist areas. The Lead Paediatric Audiologist will be expected to carry out all aspects of clinical audiology using a range of test equipment and with a high degree of clinical autonomy. The Lead Paediatric Audiologist will be expected to deal with sensitive and emotive subjects with empathy and good counselling skills. Overcoming communication and motivational barriers to treatment with non-routine patients in all areas of Audiology. It is expected that the majority of the workload will be complex patients.
The Lead Paediatric Audiologist is expected to be responsible for the running of the Paediatric Audiology Service with escalation to the Head of Service. This includes staff / resource management and provision of Audiology clinical services Trust Wide, ensuring that national standards for clinical and professional practice are maintained at all times. There is particular emphasis on improving the patient experience and exploration of moving the department towards extended days and 6 day working to improve access to the service for the patients. The Lead Paediatric Audiologist will support the Trust and Care Group in delivery of objectives and strategic direction.
