Job Description:

Audiologist – Independent Hearing Care Provider
Location: Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire (various clinics)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

Are you passionate about delivering life-changing hearing care within a supportive, patient-first environment?

I am working with a well-established, family-run independent hearing care provider with multiple boutique clinics across Nottingham, Lincoln, and Oxfordshire. With a rich heritage in audiology dating back to the 1930s, this group is proud to offer exceptional clinical care with a warm, personal approach.

The Role

This is an opportunity to work in a modern, purpose-built clinic environment with state-of-the-art equipment including:

Soundproof booths

Video otoscopy

Portable diagnostic kits for occasional home visits

You’ll be empowered to spend time with your patients, build trust, and deliver bespoke solutions that suit their individual needs and lifestyle. The organisation’s independent status allows full access to leading hearing aid manufacturers, ensuring patient choice is never compromised.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out comprehensive hearing assessments using best-practice protocols

Provide patient-focused consultations and recommend suitable hearing solutions

Fit, program, and fine-tune hearing aids with follow-up and ongoing care

Perform ear wax removal via microsuction (training can be provided if not already qualified)

Contribute to outreach efforts with GPs, care homes, and the local community (optional depending on experience/interest)

Maintain accurate records and uphold HCPC and company standards of clinical governance

What We’re Looking For

HCPC-registered Hearing Aid Audiologist

Previous experience in the private sector or a strong desire to transition from NHS welcomed

Passion for providing high-quality, unrushed care

A genuine interest in hearing technology and patient outcomes

Wax removal experience (advantageous but not essential—training offered)

A warm, approachable communicator who builds long-term trust with patients

Why Join?

Independent, ethical business with strong family values

Calm, boutique-style clinics with a focus on quality over quantity

Competitive salary and bonus potential

Comprehensive aftercare support for patients

Supportive team with ongoing professional development

Opportunity to work across several beautiful locations

If you’re ready to make a real difference in your patients’ lives and be part of a welcoming, passionate team, I'd love to hear from you.
