The JobsBoard is seeking an experienced Audiologist to join a private hearing centre in Newbury on a part-time basis (2 or 3 days per week). The role focuses on thorough patient assessments, accurate fitting, and comprehensive aftercare in a friendly, supportive clinic.

Appointments are typically up to an hour, with Starkey devices predominantly used and some Oticon. Benefits include 25 days of holiday, training and development opportunities, and no Saturday work.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered and clinically confident.
• Private audiology experience preferred.
• Comfortable with long patient appointments (up to 60 minutes).

Responsibilities

• Conduct hearing assessments and provide diagnosis.

2 - 3 days a week | Clinic Based | Independent Hearing Care

I'm recruiting for a lovely independent hearing centre in Newbury looking for an experienced Audiologist to join their small, supportive team on a part-time basis - 2 or 3 days a week.

This could be a great opportunity if you want to stay in private Audiology but are looking for a role where you have proper time with your patients and the freedom to focus on doing good Audiology.

The clinic has a strong reputation locally, with much of its business coming through recommendation and word of mouth, and appointments are typically up to an hour, allowing time to understand the patient, assess their hearing properly and talk through the right solution for them.

The role will include hearing assessments, treatment recommendations, hearing aid fitting, rehabilitation and ongoing aftercare.

• £36,000 FTE basic + 4% commission

Wax removal experience would be useful, but if you are not currently trained, training can be provided.
