The Trust is seeking a motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic doctor to work at the Registrar level in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and General Medicine at BNHH. This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain experience in general medicine, diabetes, and endocrinology, with or without PACES, prior to joining a specialist registrar scheme.
Trainees will gain exposure to acute medicine as part of the unselected take (frequency of 1 in 15), general medicine, and diabetes care. This includes inpatient diabetes ward rounds, foot clinics, insulin pump clinics, antenatal, teenage transition, and young adult diabetes clinics. The role provides opportunities to learn about thyroid disease, pituitary, adrenal, gynaecological endocrinology, hypogonadism, and metabolic disorders including lipidology.
