Now Hiring: AV Technician - Live Events

Location: Newark-on-Trent

Salary: Up to £32,000

About the Role

As an AV Technician, you’ll be involved in the build, setup, and operation of AV equipment for installations and live events across a wide variety of venues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing, setting up, and operating AV equipment — audio, lighting, video, rigging, and staging
• Working onsite at events across the UK
• Supporting pre-builds, prep, and kit maintenance
• Assisting with design and planning alongside the projects team
• Learning and operating industry-standard software and equipment
• Helping develop and manage the company’s AV inventory
• Supporting warehouse operations and logistics

What They’re Looking For

• Solid understanding of AV tech — lighting, LED, video control, rigging, staging, etc.
• Comfortable with fault finding and basic repairs
• Good communication skills and a hands-on, can-do attitude
• A team player who also works well independently
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
• Full clean UK driving licence

Bonus skills (not essential):

• Experience with MS Office and stock control systems
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Vectorworks, etc.)

?Location & Flexibility

This role is based in Newark involves travel and occasional evening/weekend work. Candidates must live within a commutable distance and be flexible around event schedules.
