The Role

Represent the company at one or multiple permanent event venues in London, providing top quality AV support.

Operate and maintain professional video, lighting and audio equipment
Provide the best in class customer service on-site and remotely
Support everything from board meetings to up to 200 person events
Providing solutions for any technical challenge on events
Transport and setup of video, lighting, and audio equipment as required
Operate and maintain professional video, lighting and audio equipment
Work with an internal team of Event Producers, Project Managers, Designers, and Video Producers, and coordinate freelance production crew
Coordinate crew and equipment as needed
Ability to spot points of failure and have suitable contingencies in place
Assist staff with pulling, staging, and striking audio/visual equipment for events
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Location and on-site management
Assess technical and on-site health and safety risks, be alert for live issues on event days and be primed to react accordingly
Follow-up and feedback on internal processes and workﬂows
Keep up to date with developments in the industry and share internally

The Person

2-4+ Years of AV Production or Broadcast Industry Experience
Ability to set up and ring out a PA
Knowledge/understanding of wireless microphone systems
Knowledge of different video standards
Technical knowledge of common video equipment and common workﬂows
Proactive communicator, to build relationships with all stakeholders
Highly organised to make sure no ball is dropped
Driven to do a great job, and to learn new skills
Creative and curious

Desired experience

Knowledge and experience operating a variety of large and small-scale audio events
Experience in streaming, vMix, RTMP, SRT, NDI, etc.
Video cameras and ﬁlm lighting knowledge
Proﬁcient in lighting equipment; uplighters, moving head, and stationary lights
