Job summary

TEAM4REC is recruiting an Audio Visual Events Project Manager for London. You will lead end-to-end delivery from client brief through technical planning to on-site execution, coordinating with clients, production teams, suppliers and venues.

You will oversee AV systems planning, rigging, lighting, CAD drawings and safety documentation, ensuring professional, safe and commercially successful events. Salary is £65,000–£80,000 plus overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a production agency or live‑events environment.
  • Strong operational and project-management experience within live events.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Good technical knowledge of professional audio‑visual systems, including data, rigging and power distribution.
  • Experience with d&b audiotechnik array processing, LED displays, media servers and video processing.
  • Knowledge of rental‑management platforms such as Current RMS.
  • Strong interpersonal and client‑management skills.
  • Experience producing technical drawings and event plans.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Capture, SketchUp and WYSIWYG is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main client liaison for operational delivery, including pre-event meetings and project planning.
  • Coordinate third‑party suppliers, quotations, purchasing and equipment hire.
  • Manage on‑site installations alongside Production Managers and Technicians.
  • Evaluate technical and creative solutions using project requirements and data.
  • Coordinate equipment, logistics and crew requirements for events.
  • Produce health & safety documentation, equipment lists, plans and cable schedules.
  • Work with warehouse and production teams to ensure equipment is available and deployed.
  • Produce detailed technical drawings and floor plans for AV and lighting productions.
  • Create lighting plots, rigging plans and equipment layouts.
  • Develop 3D visualisations and pre-visualisations of event spaces and lighting designs.
  • Maintain health and safety standards across premises and events.
  • Keep up to date with new AV products, technologies and services.

TEAM4REC is supporting AV Jobs with the recruitment of an experienced Audio Visual Events Project Manager.

This role suits someone with strong live events and production experience who can manage projects end-to-end - from client brief and technical planning through delivery, budgets, suppliers and on‑site execution.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating technical and operational delivery across live events, working closely with clients, production teams, suppliers and venue teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, professionally and commercially.

What we’re looking for

Package

£65,000–£80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus overtime and benefits.
