Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
Audiovisual Service Engineer based in the
London area (Zones 1-6). This is a
site-based role responsible for the
maintenance, repair, and technical support of AV systems installed at client locations. There are also opportunities for travel across the UK and Europe, if desired.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance/repairs on AV systems.
- Provide field service and technical support to clients and team members.
- Interpret and work from AV system schematics and construction drawings.
- Respond to client service tickets promptly and professionally.
- Document service activities and update internal systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and third-party contractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Liaise with manufacturers for product support and warranty claims.
- Attend relevant training courses.
Candidate RequirementsEssential- Minimum 5 years' experience in the AV industry or a similar role.
- Skilled in cable installation, termination, and hardware setup.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written).
- Full understanding of H&S practices and ability to pass the ECS certification.
- Clean, full UK driving licence (advantageous).
- Must reside within TFL travel zones 1-6.
Preferred- High level of computer literacy.
- Experience with AV/VC systems such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
- Background in related technologies: IP networks, telephony, satellite, or electrical systems.
- Interest in ongoing technical education (AVIXA CTS or similar).

- 8-hour shifts
