As an AV Project Manager, you'll lead the delivery of top-tier Audio Visual systems to our nationwide customers. Reporting to the Audio Visual Operations Manager, you'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

This role focuses on new build or major refurbishment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AV technologies and proven experience in AV Project Management, with a passion for delivering innovative AV solutions. This role involves close collaboration with our Engineering, Support, and Design teams, as well as third-party stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend handover meetings from our Commercial team and take ownership of assigned projects
• Collaborate with clients, main contractors, and consultants to establish project timelines and milestones
• Work with Engineering Management to ensure adequate labor resources
• Coordinate with stock and Procurement teams to purchase materials promptly, avoiding excess stock
• Progress dependencies for assigned projects
• Participate in site kick-off meetings and conduct regular onsite inspections
• Ensure quality of handover, training, and O&M documentation
• Support and motivate installation teams, resolving issues as they arise
• Track project costs, variations, and changes
• Own financial performance, quality, and client relationships
• Report project progress to the business

Required Experience

• Proven Project Manager with strong AV experience
• Understanding of AV equipment such as Digital Video, Projection Systems, Control Systems, DSPs, Audio Systems, Large format displays, DMX Lighting, and BMS integration
• Familiarity with industry standards like AVIXA (InfoComm) and certifications (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I) is a plus
• Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Visio, etc.) is a plus
• Salesforce experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive progress
• Experience managing budgets and on-site challenges
• Excellent presentation skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving license
• A sense of humor about whether a hotdog is a sandwich (the right answer is important!)
