Premier Productions is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their team as a Creative Production Technician. This role involves preparing, setting up, and maintaining technical equipment for live events, including sound, lighting, and video systems.

You will be involved in equipment prep, on-site setup, troubleshooting, and system maintenance. Developing understanding of various technical components and their integration to deliver high-quality live event experiences is essential.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing audio, lighting, video, and special effects equipment
  • Highlighting and resolving equipment issues
  • Accurately scanning equipment in and out and updating systems
  • Diagnosing and fixing AV systems before, during, and after events
  • Efficiently packing, loading, and transporting equipment
  • Testing, repairing, and maintaining equipment
  • Setting up equipment on-site according to specifications
  • Using bespoke software and ensuring health & safety policies are followed

Ideal candidates should have GCSE Grade 4/C in Maths and English, and possess skills in communication, attention to detail, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Training provided includes a Level 3 pathway in Creative Production Technician, focusing on sound, lighting, or video systems, troubleshooting, and safety practices.

Additional considerations include flexibility for evening and weekend work, and commuting distance.
