Job summary

Linea Research, a brand within the Focusrite Group, is based in Letchworth Garden City and seeks a Support Engineer (Audio Technology) on a permanent, full-time basis. Salary is negotiable plus benefits.

The role includes on-site support, travel to trade shows and events, and collaboration with internal teams. You will provide expert technical support to end users, dealers, and OEM partners, while delivering hardware and software trainings and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in the audio technology field including modern DSP and amplifier platforms.
• A comprehensive understanding of audio engineering, acoustics and business administration.
• Competent operation of measurement systems such as SMAART and Open Sound Meter.
• Sound system operation experience preferred.
• Previous proactive customer service experience.
• The ability to relay technical information to non-technical customers.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
• A dedicated outlook, driven to accomplish tasks with teamwork.
• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00–17:30

Responsibilities

• Provide professional technical support to Linea Research customers via email, phone, or in person.
• Be the point of contact for internal technical product support between Focusrite brands.
• Offer solutions to customer issues and feed back to internal teams for improvements.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain hardware and software.
• Respond promptly to customer requirements using ticketing system; manage tickets and trends.
• Collaborate with Sales and R&D to tailor support to customer needs.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to the Line Manager.
• Assist with technical documentation for customers.
• Represent the company at trade shows and events.
• Travel may be required for on-site support, shows, and events.
