Job summary

Dynamite Recruitment is seeking an Audio System Engineer to install and maintain audio systems across Sunderland and surrounding areas, including court rooms on a large contract. You will work with an experienced team and travel UK-wide as required, with early mornings, evenings, and weekends common.

The ideal candidate brings experience with 100v Line PA, PA/VA, DSP Matrix, and third‑party interfacing such as video conferencing, along with infrared hearing and induction loop systems.

Qualifications

• 100v Line Public Address Systems experience.
• PA/VA (Voice Alarm) systems knowledge.
• DSP Matrix Systems and Installed Audio expertise.
• Interfacing with 3rd party systems e.g. Video Conferencing.
• Infrared Hearing and Induction Loop systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain Audio Systems in Court Rooms.
• Install and maintain building-wide Public Address and PA/VA Systems to standards.
• Be flexible with working hours; early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays.
• Willingness to travel to all parts of the UK when required.

Audio System Engineer

Location: Sunderland and surrounding area

Our client is a leading competitor in the Fire and Security industry, and they are growing rapidly! With a track record of providing fantastic career opportunities, they are seeking an Audio System Engineer to cover Sunderland and the surrounding area

This role is required on a large contract whereby the majority of sites are Ministry of Justice sites. You will be joining an experienced team of two who can help train and develop your skill set further

You must be experienced with:

• 100v Line Public Address Systems.
• PA/VA (Voice Alarm Systems).
• DSP Matrix Systems, Installed Audio.
• Interfacing with 3rd Party Systems, I.E Video Conferencing.
• Infrared Hearing and Induction Loop systems.

The Role

• To Install and maintain Audio Systems in Court Rooms.
• Install and maintain building wide Public Address and PA/VA Systems to relevant standards.
• Be flexible with working hours. Early mornings, evenings, weekend work and staying away is frequent.
• Willingness to travel to all parts of the UK when required.
