Multi award winning games dialogue specialist SIDE is looking for Casual Audio Editors to join its team. SIDE has been producing best-in-class game audio for over 25 years and built an enviable portfolio and brand. Recent hit releases SIDE have provided dialogue services for include Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Hitman III, Returnal, It Takes Two and more.

The successful candidate would be responsible for engineering games dialogue sessions in one of SIDE's London recording studios, working on often BAFTA award winning games. This role will be based in studio at SIDE's London HQ. The Audio Editor role will include a mix of:

  1. Audio editing of WAV files to a high standard.
  2. QA and delivery of edited WAV files using in-house Excel tools.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will need to be proficient in the use of:

  • WAV file editors (such as Audition)
  • Pro Tools
  • Microphone pre-amps and compressors.
  • Excel.

On a technical level the candidate will also need to be:

  • Interested generally in technology.
  • Interested keenly in audio technology.
  • Able to problem solve technical and IT issues at a basic level.
  • Able to adapt quickly to new software.
  • Able to quickly learn new skills.
  • A multi-skilled software operator.

On a personal level the candidate will also need:

  • To have a keen eye for detail and a good set of ears.
  • Be well organised and always prepared.
  • Be calm under pressure and able to work to deadlines.
  • Be happy and capable of working alone or as part of a team.
  • Not be afraid of long or unsociable hours as required.

Benefits

Hourly pay of £13.50 per hour.
