Qualifications

  • Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Auto Electrician is required.
  • Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualifications are advantageous.
  • Full UK Driving license is mandatory.

Job Introduction

Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Audi Stratford-upon-Avon. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, with a 40-hour week (including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, averaging 41.5 hours per week).

We offer an excellent basic salary with OTE up to £38,000 plus benefits.

Role And Responsibilities
  1. Service, repair, and diagnose all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
  2. Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
  3. Additional responsibilities may include repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
  4. Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
  5. Understand and prioritize Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
  6. Operate additional systems such as video reporting (e.g., CitNOW), with training provided.
  7. Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
  8. Collaborate with workshop team members to learn and share knowledge.
About You
  1. Candidates from all backgrounds with experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician are welcome.
  2. Experience in independent garages, fast fit centres, car supermarkets, or main dealerships is relevant.
  3. Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or working towards it.
  4. Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualifications are advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
  5. MOT License is beneficial but not essential.
  6. Full UK Driving license.
  7. Demonstrate good mechanical and electrical knowledge, with a commitment to high standards; training and facilities are available to support your career growth.
