Job Introduction

Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Audi Stratford-upon-Avon. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00, 40-hour week (1 in 3 Saturday mornings, averaging 41.5 hours per week).

Excellent Basic Salary with OTE up to £38,000 plus benefits.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and diagnose all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring high standards are met first time.
  • Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs, such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
  • Additional duties may involve repairs on EV and Hybrid vehicles, including using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
  • Ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
  • Understand Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
  • Operate additional systems like video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
  • Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to share knowledge and improve skills.
About you
  • Candidates from all backgrounds with experience as Vehicle Technicians, Mechanics, HGV Mechanics, HGV Technicians, Motor Mechanics, Motor Vehicle Technicians, Car Mechanics, HGV Fitters, Auto Electricians, MOT Testers, or Apprentice Vehicle Technicians are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in independent garages, fast fit centers, car supermarkets, or main dealerships is relevant.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; training provided for Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualifications.
  • MOT license is beneficial but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving license required.
