ATU Technician

Job Description:

Job purpose: The position of Technician requires the need to support all facets of testing across the Centre Of Excellence test facility. The facilities include Engine Test (Performance & Validation), Vehicle Test, Rig Test (Performance & Validation), Specialist Environmental rigs, NVH rigs, and FIE (fuel injection equipment) build.

Skills Mandatory

1. Intermediate mechanical fitting skills
2. Basic knowledge of fuel injection system functionality
3. Basic Instrumentation set-up / operational skills
4. Basic data acquisition skills
5. Intermediate computer (MS Office) skills
6. Basic test equipment programming examples: (AVL Puma / National Instruments / editing skills)
7. Basic engine function understanding
8. Either or both: Basic rig function understanding / Basic engine test bed understanding
9. Good communication skills
10. Basic RISK assessment skills
11. Sustain the BorgWarner values in your area of influence.

Desirable
