Meadowcroft School in Wakefield is seeking an Attendance Officer to monitor attendance and pupil welfare, coordinating with families and external partners. You will analyse attendance data, identify trends, and drive interventions to improve engagement. The role is permanent with term-time elements and a 42.5-hour week.

Qualifications

• Ability to monitor attendance patterns and welfare data.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with families and partners.
• Experience in reporting attendance metrics and outcomes.
• Capability to plan targeted interventions to support pupils.

Responsibilities

• Promoting excellent attendance and supporting the school in achieving targets.
• Monitoring, analysing and reporting on attendance and welfare data to identify trends and inform interventions.
• Supporting Leadership Team in tracking attendance, identifying concerns and improving outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate attendance and safeguarding records across systems.
