Job summary

De Warenne Academy is seeking an Attendance and Welfare Officer to take a lead role in the administration of pupil data, attendance and safeguarding across the academy. The appointment is permanent and full-time, starting January 2027.

You will implement ‘first day’ contact strategies and home visits to boost attendance, support Designated Safeguarding Leads with accurate records, and work with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies to secure appropriate plans and safeguarding for pupils
