Seaview Primary School in Seaham is seeking a part-time Attendance Support Worker to improve pupil attendance and support families to overcome barriers. The Attendance Support Worker plays a pivotal role in improving pupil attendance and supporting children and families to overcome barriers to education. Working closely with school staff, pupils, parents/carers, and external agencies, you will help ensure that every child has the best possible opportunity to succeed through regular school attendance.
This is a rewarding role that combines daily attendance monitoring and welfare support with longer‑term casework, family engagement, and multi‑agency collaboration. You will build positive relationships with families, identify concerns early, and implement effective interventions to improve attendance outcomes for our pupils.

Salary: £30,024‑£33,699 (Pro‑rata).
