Longford Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Attendance Officer to oversee daily attendance processes, maintain registers and deliver timely, data-driven reports. You will engage with staff, parents and the trust to ensure attendance targets are met and statutory requirements are complied with.

The role emphasizes safeguarding compliance, collaboration with pastoral teams and timely communication to support improved student attendance across the academy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver the attendance process by providing accurate student information regarding daily attendance.
• Record and provide information and data regarding punctuality.
• Maintain attendance registers and ensure accurate capture of student movement.
• Report non-attendance and liaise with Senior Leadership to fix registration issues.
• Take responsibility for registers for statutory reporting processes.
• Provide data-driven attendance reports daily, weekly and termly.
