Wallingford School is seeking an Attendance Officer to promote high levels of attendance and punctuality among students, maintaining both manual and electronic records. The role emphasises collaboration with staff to monitor trends and support interventions.
You will liaise with students, parents, carers and professionals to provide attendance statistics to the school, Trust, LA and DfE, and initiate appropriate sanctions with colleagues. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Contract Type: Term time + 2 Weeks+ INSET/37 Hours Per week
Salary: Grade 7, Point 13-17, £27,182-£29,014 per annum, depending on experience

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Wallingford School. The Attendance Officer is responsible for assisting in promoting high levels of attendance and punctuality by students and to maintain records, both manual and electronic, relating to these areas.
You will be expected to liaise with students, parents/carers, colleagues and other professionals in relation to student attendance and punctuality. The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing and providing information and statistics regarding student attendance and punctuality as required by the school, Trust, local authority (LA) and DfE and initiating appropriate sanctions in liaison with relevant colleagues and other professionals.
The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
Grade 7, Point 13-17, £27,182-£29,014 per annum depending on experience - Annual salary will be payable in twelve equal instalments (monthly).
