Job summary

Aureus School is seeking an Attendance Officer to join our pastoral team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate attendance records and supporting every student to succeed by promoting regular attendance and punctuality.

You will work under the Senior Leadership Team and collaborate with the Home School Link Worker. The successful candidate will need excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a methodical, confidential approach within a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in school attendance or pastoral settings preferred.
• Ability to monitor and record attendance accurately.
• Strong communication with families, staff and external agencies.

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting young people? Aureus School are looking for an Attendance Officer to join our established Pastoral team and play a key role in maintaining accurate student attendance records and ensuring every child has the best opportunity to succeed. Your Opportunity Working under the guidance of the Senior Leadership Team, and working closely with the Home School Link Worker; you will be responsible for monitoring and recording attendance data, liaising with families, teachers, the pastoral team and external agencies to promote good attendance and punctuality. This is a fast paced rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach. The successful candidate will be expected to respect the need for confidentiality that exists when working in a school environment and will enjoy the rewards of working within a friendly and co-operative team.
