All about the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Attendance Service for a Data Analyst & Support Assistant. This person will be extracting data from our internal systems and using this to provide management information to the Manager and Head of Service in order to ensure statutory deadlines are being met and to help support the improvement of school attendance across the City.

This is an exciting role and the successful applicant will need to be flexible, approachable and able to adapt to ever changing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally, the right candidate will be educated to GCSE standard, or equivalent, and should have an understanding of Local Authority working, Attendance policies and procedures although this is not essential.

You will be highly organised and efficient with the ability to produce work of a high standard within set timescales, meeting statutory deadlines, which is non-negotiable in this environment.

As well as having good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft packages, the role requires data inputting on the Attendance Service database, for which you will receive training. Candidates will require excellent IT skills, with accuracy and attention to detail, which is paramount.

This is a home working/office-based hybrid post at Sand Martin House where you will be the first point of contact for all enquiries into the team, therefore, having excellent communication and telephony skills combined with a sensitive approach are essential.
