A leading educational organization in Blackpool is seeking an Attendance and Engagement Officer to enhance student attendance and engagement. The successful candidate will work in a supportive environment, addressing barriers to attendance with compassion and strong communication skills. Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Up to 37 per week – TTO plus 1 week
Salary: NJC Grade E SCP 12-17 £27,711 - £30,060 FTE (pro-rata)

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Attendance and Engagement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in monitoring, improving, and managing pupil attendance, helping to ensure that all students are engaged and supported to attend regularly.

• A sound knowledge of safeguarding
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have the ability to form and maintain positive relationships with disengaged young people
• Knowledge of attendance policies, safeguarding, and local authority procedures is an advantage
