Job summary

Skyborne is seeking a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to join our Ground School team at Bournemouth Airport. You will deliver UK CAA and EASA ATPL syllabus to trainees and maintain training records in line with Skyborne standards.

The role requires strong communication skills and active contribution to continuous improvement, with option for full-time or part-time employment. Onsite at Bournemouth with a supportive, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Instruction (desirable).
• Experience in developing, revising, and overseeing course materials and examinations (desirable).
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Supportive and approachable, motivational, mentoring and guiding students.
• Actively contributes to continuous improvement and standardisation of training delivery.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach, focused on ensuring students enjoy an excellent learning experience.
• Strong report writing skills and confident IT user, with sound knowledge of the Microsoft office suite.

Responsibilities

• Delivering UK CAA and EASA ATPL syllabus to Trainees.
• Monitoring Trainee progress.
• Preparing and maintaining Training Records.
• Ensuring all Theoretical Knowledge training documentation, manuals and courseware are up to date with published learning objectives.
• Conducting administrative and other duties that directly support the role of the CTKI.
• Ensuring training policies and processes are followed.
• Communicating and promoting policies, procedures and standards throughout the Academy.
