Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer for a hybrid role based in Whiteley, Hampshire. You will contribute to air traffic management software, work within an agile team, and help deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining SC clearance requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration across engineers, testers, and stakeholders, with a focus on modern programming practices, documentation, and continual improvement in a safety-critical aviation context.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software using C and/or C++.
• Experience in an Agile development environment (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
• Knowledge or practical use of AI-assisted software development.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git or Subversion.
