Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking an Integration Test Engineer for an ATM programme in a Hybrid role based near Whiteley, Hampshire. You will design, write and execute test cases, liaising with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage of software, interfaces and network configurations.

The role requires SC clearance, ISTQB/ISEB certification, and experience across Functional, Non-Functional and Integration testing, plus familiarity with 1GL–3GL languages and Linux.

Qualifications

• ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing is required.
• Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week.
• Excellent understanding of Testing Lifecycle and Testing types (Functional, Non-Functional, Integration).
• Experience with 1st–3rd generation languages (Ada, C, C++).
• Experience with Waterfall and V-model development models.
• Experience delivering on Linux.
• Experience with development environments for 1GL–3GL languages.
• Ability to estimate and plan tasks and manage completion.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good time management and autonomy.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and willing to learn new technologies.
• Experience creating Test Cases from requirements and designs.

Responsibilities

• Generate Test Cases by reviewing requirements and design docs with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Document test results, defects, and report progress, risks and issues.
• Investigate issues with suppliers to find root causes and resolutions.
• Analyse data and test evidence from suppliers to demonstrate compliance.
• Identify improvements in new and existing processes.
