Job summary

NCR Atleos in Rotherham is seeking an ATM Commissioning Engineer to prepare ATMs for dispatch and to collaborate with the Scheduling Team to meet strict deadlines.

You will configure and test ATMs, install locks, manage parts and branding, run final quality checks, and assist the Installation Team on-site with technical queries. The role includes on-site training and a clear progression path within a global technology leader.

Qualifications

• Good general PC skills (Word, Excel, e-mail).
• Enthusiastic, adaptable personality, able to learn and adhere to structured working methods and procedures
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and other departments.
• Manual Handling skills – use of pallet trucks to manoeuvre ATMs.
• Confident and competent user of ‘basic’ hand-tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ATMs, including system setup.
• Install locks and perform live functionality testing prior to dispatch.
• Manage and record the consumption of parts, ATMs, and related materials.
• Fit branding, wraps, and signage, ensuring ATMs are fully cleaned before despatch.
• Complete ATM balancing and carry out final quality checks before dispatch.
• Liaise with colleagues, technical support, security teams, and third parties to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
• Monitor branding stock levels and support procurement with replenishment requirements.
• Assist Installation Team on-site with technical queries re; bringing out the ATMs and any faults.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and tidy ATM preparation and storage area.
• ATM technical specific training will be provided.
