Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf is seeking a passionate Science Teacher for a full-time or part-time role in its Science Department. Position: Science Teacher
Salary Scale: Teachers' Salary Scale
The school is eager to appoint a passionate teacher for a full-time or part-time position in the Science Department (initial one-year contract). The successful candidate should be capable of teaching CA3 or CA3/CA4 classes in the subject.
The department is successful in GCSE and A-level, ensuring that the foundation laid in CA3 encourages and challenges students to achieve high standards. It is proud of the high numbers choosing Triple Science at GCSE and continuing to study science subjects at A-level in the Sixth Form, with excellent results over an extended period.
The school is enthusiastic about expanding opportunities and courses within the field to the future, including teaching in CA5 and other courses available to students in the Sixth Form.
The successful candidate is expected to have a clear vision of dynamic and innovative Learning and Teaching principles and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively as a motivated team member. The department is committed to providing valuable experiences in Science, emphasizing the breadth of study pathways and careers within sciences.
