Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher

New Directions Education is seeking Welsh-speaking Supply Teachers to support primary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taff. We are looking for motivated, flexible, and dedicated individuals to join our team.

Assignments can be long-term or short-term, with flexible scheduling to suit your availability.

Fluency in written and spoken Welsh is essential for this role, especially within Welsh-medium schools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching all areas of The Curriculum for Wales
  • Creating a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and resources
  • Planning and delivering lessons suitable for all ability levels
  • Motivating students with engaging and imaginative presentation
  • Assessing and recording student development
  • Staying informed about curriculum updates
  • Collaborating with colleagues, especially in smaller schools
