GLL is seeking an Athletics Coach to work at Croydon Sports Arena. If you have the necessary skills and ambition, this is a great opportunity to advance your career in coaching.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality athletic and multi-skill coaching sessions.
  • Implementing best practices, progression, and teaching points.
  • Providing safe and inclusive coaching for all ages and abilities.
  • Teaching core athletic skills such as balance, coordination, agility, running, jumping, and throwing.
  • Ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Encouraging enrolment in further courses and assisting with administrative tasks.
  • Recording achievements and ensuring standards are met according to UKA awards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum level of Assistant Coach, ideally Athletics Coach.
  • Understanding of health and safety legislation, child protection, and equal opportunities policies.
  • Knowledge of UKA Academy awards and sports hall events.
