A leading law enforcement agency is seeking a Business Advisor to support the rollout of the PMP system within the Athena Management Organisation. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Pro-active Management Plans (PMP) Business Advisor within the Athena Management Organisation. This primarily home-based role will be on a secondment/fixed term contract basis until March 2029.
This challenging role requires the successful candidate to possess a strong knowledge of PMP functionality and related business processes to support the rollout of this critical module across the consortium. You will provide expert advice and guidance to Athena Forces on the PMP system, including training and supporting new adopters.
You will respond to queries from Athena Forces, solve problems, and make decisions on behalf of the 9-force consortium. You will communicate system changes effectively across different organizational levels and boundaries. The ability to influence and build consensus is essential.
You should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and aim for optimal outcomes for the forces. Knowledge of project management principles would be advantageous.
Experience working across force boundaries or with partner agencies is preferred. Experience in IT system testing is welcome but not essential.

Note: Essex Police offers incremental salary increases within this band, with a maximum salary of £37,692. Salary depends on the home office force of appointment and will be discussed with the successful candidate before an offer is made.
