Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd is currently recruiting for an ATEX Inspector to join a specialist team delivering installation, inspection and wiring works in hazardous environments. You will read drawings and schematics, terminate equipment and support panel wiring while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.

The role requires CompEx 01-04, an ECS/JIB Card, and proven experience in hazardous areas. A long-term, on-site contract in the region offers weekly pay and opportunities to work on demanding

• CompEx 01-04 (minimum) qualification is required.
• Experience working in hazardous/ATEX environments is essential.

Job description

The Role

You will be working as part of a specialist team carrying out installation, inspection and wiring works within hazardous or controlled environments.

Duties will include:

• CompEx inspections within hazardous / ATEX environments
• Terminating and installing equipment in line with specifications
• Working from drawings, schematics and electrical layouts
• Supporting panel wiring and control system installation where required
• Ensuring all works are carried out to high safety and compliance standards
• Adhering to site procedures and permit systems

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working as an ATEX Inspector within industrial or process environments
• Strong wiring, installation and fault-finding experience
• Experience working in or around hazardous areas
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Essential

• Valid ECS / JIB Card
• CompEx 01-04 (minimum)

Desirable

• Experience in panel wiring or control systems
• Background in chemical, manufacturing, energy or heavy industrial sectors

Hours & Duration

• Start date: ASAP
• On-going contract
• 50 hours Monday - Friday, some overtime will be available

Pay

• £30.00 - £37.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
• CIS or LTD payment options available
• Weekly pay
